Male LSA - Level 1 & Performing Arts

We are seeking a Male Learning Support Assistant to join our sixth form college in Kensington & Chelsea.

The role will primarily involve supporting Level 1 students, with the opportunity to provide additional support within Performing Arts.

The role will include:

Providing classroom and individual support to Level 1 students
Helping students stay engaged and focused on their learning
Supporting students with confidence, communication and independence
Working closely with teaching staff to meet students' individual needs
Providing additional support within Performing Arts where appropriate

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting
Is patient, reliable and approachable
Can build positive relationships with students
Has a calm and encouraging manner
Is flexible and willing to support across different areas of the college
Essential: A valid DBS certificate registered on the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
