Management Accountant

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll gain exposure to the full finance function, with excellent prospects for career progression as the business expands.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and conduct detailed variance analysis.
• Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
• Deliver financial reports and month-end tasks with insightful qualitative analysis.
• Provide ad-hoc, data-driven analysis to support business decisions.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate project profitability and offer financial insights.
• Drive process improvements by automating and enhancing accounting systems.
• Streamline revenue recognition and cost accrual processes.
• Manage HMRC returns (VAT, Corporation Tax) and Swiss VAT submissions.
• Support annual audit processes.
• Mentor junior team members in a collaborative and inclusive environment.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Qualified or part-qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Solid technical accounting knowledge and proven analytical ability.
• High attention to detail and a logical approach to data interpretation.
• Confident in presenting financial insights to diverse audiences.
• Professional mindset with a commitment to accuracy and deadlines.
• Experience in leading process improvement initiatives.

Desirable:

• Experience in the media and communications industry.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
