Management Accountant

We are recruiting for are a leading workwear clothing brand operating in the B2B market who have a great opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant.

Duties:

• Supporting in the preparation of the monthly accounts.
• Preparation of board reports and analysis to the monthly management accounts
• Supporting balance sheet reconciliations
• Monthly accounting reconciliations - control accounts/ intercompany accounts
• Analysing variances and working with budget holders to take mitigating action as necessary
• Tax compliance:
• Ensure compliance with local/ European market, requirements, regulations and tax issues
• Build and maintain relationships with bank, auditors, tax advisors and HMRC
• Assist with the delivery and implementation of costs effective and efficient accounting and financial systems, policies and processes that meet the current and future business requirements of the business

Qualifications / Experience required:

• A recognised professional accounting qualification (either ACA, ACCA or ACMA) is preferred
• At least 3-5 years in a Management Accounting role
• High attention to detail
• Strong I.T. skills, in particular knowledge of the operation and administration of accounting systems
