Client Details

Our client is seeking a Part Qualified Management Accountant to join their finance team in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual who is working towards their ACCA, CIMA or ACA Qualification.

They are a highly successful business in the Engineering industry and are looking for someone to join on a permanent basis.

The successful Part Qualified Management Accountant will be reporting into the Financial Controller.

Description

Management Accountant Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Supporting in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports
• Maintain and reconcile key accounts
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Assist with cost analysis and control
• Support internal and external audits

Profile

The successful Management Accountant:

• Part Qualified in CIMA, ACCA or ACA (actively studying)
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Proficient in finance software
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Able to commute to Nottingham
