Management Accountant

We are seeking an accomplished Management Accountant to manage our Accounting & Finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the company's financial operations and improving financial performance.

Description

• Preparing monthly management accounts and financial statements.
• Analysing financial performance and contributing to medium and long-term business planning and forecasts.
• Offering professional judgement on financial matters and advising on ways of improving business performance.
• Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managers.
• Implementing corporate governance procedures, risk management and internal controls.
• Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out.
• Managing budgets and producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines.
• Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation in the Business Services industry.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel.
• Experience working in the Business Services industry is advantageous.
