Management Accountant

Hays Senior Finance are working with an innovative and growing manufacturing business in Deeside who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant with previous manufacturing experience. This modern company has Private Equity investment and a very strong leadership team in place across Sales, Operations and Finance. The company is expanding geographically and entering new sectors which will provide further opportunities in the future. Due to ongoing growth, the company needs to recruit this crucial position to bridge the gap between the Finance Director and transactional team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and possess expertise in accounting software such as Sage200.Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounts payable and sales processing
• Full production of monthly management accounts pack for review
• Detailed analysis of month-end reporting with commentary on variances
• Cash flow forecasting
• Provide financial and stock control management support to senior management
• Mentor junior staff members in accounting best practices

Skills:

• Proficiency in financial management and a good understanding of the manufacturing processes (BOM, MRP etc)
• Experience with accounting software Sage 200 or similar.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable and sales processes
• Ability to conduct accurate financial accounting
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior staff members

This role is primarily based on site in their modern offices, so we are looking for candidates within a commutable distance from Deeside with a right to work in the UK.
