Kingscroft have been asked to recruit for a Management Accountant to support the activity of an outstanding manufacturing business. As the ideal candidate you will have experience of working closely with a Financial Controller and be capable of producing management accounts, reports and coordinating business controls in a production or technical organisation.

Outside of the reporting cycle you will be playing a key business partnering role , developing cost centres and working on business and process improvement projects.

As a Management Accountant your role will involve:

• Assisting the Financial Controller in the preparation of the monthly Management accounts.
• Monitor accruals/prepayments
• Intrastat sales and purchases
• Carry out random checks on completion of sales dispatch notes
• Carry out random stock counts
• Supplier rebates
• Year end reporting liaise with auditors/tax
• Analyse overheads
• Various month end group reporting
• Agree inter-company balances
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensure stocktake procedures followed
• VAT
• ONS returns
• P11D reports
• Barclaycard analysis
• Monitor Duty/VAT on imports
• Create and update ‘chart of accounts to reflect management activities.
• Monthly R D reports
• Provide support to the accounts staff.
