Management Accountant

Axon Moore are delighted to be recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a hugely successful FMCG Business based in Bromborough.

This role is perfect for an ambitious part qual who are in the latter stages/finalist of their CIMA/ACCA qualification. Working closely with their talented Site Accountant, this broad role will help you to excel within your career, offering clear progression within c.12-18 months!

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reporting
• Prepare monthly journals, with reconciliation to weeklies
• Complete detailed balance sheet reconciliations
• Involved in budgeting & reforecasting process
• Analyse data, investigating & reporting on anomalies
• Identification and tracking of gaps in performance
• Finance Lead in Operational Finance activities at Site
• Involved in the costing and pricing process for new and existing products
• Support in checking Site monthly submissions are SOX compliant
• Be No 2 when Site Accountant is unavailable
• Able to work across functions with people at all levels of the Site

Skills & Knowledge required:

• Motivated self-starter
• Problem solving skills
• Excellent organisation and admin skills with attention to detail essential
• Ability to work as part of a team but also use own initiative
• Work effectively under tight deadlines contributing to a busy and dynamic environment
• Excellent skills with MS Office, particularly Excel
• Experience of working with an ERP system, ideally SAP
• Experience of producing daily and weekly reports to a short deadline
• Experience of working within a finance function in a large organisation
• Experience of the FMCG environment desirable

This role is offering a salary of £40,000 - £45,000 DOE + Study Support. Please note this is an on-site role with some flexible working hours.
