Management Accountant

A Management Accountant is required for this successful and growing organisation based in Deeside, Flintshire.

Your key duties will be:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts payable and related financial transactions to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Support the budgeting process by delivering detailed financial forecasts and conducting variance analyses.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver financial insights that inform and enhance business decision-making.
• Effectively manage financial data using accounting software, including Sage 200.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal financial policies and procedures.
• Assist in audit processes by compiling required documentation and providing clear, timely explanations.

This is a permanent office based role offering a salary of up to £39,000 per annum, To be suitable for this role you will have:

• Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using accounting software, including Sage 200.
• Experience in producing Management Accounts and variance analysis with commercial commentary.
• Experience in accounts payable & receivable processes is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly to management.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
• Part qualified CIMA or studying towards a professional accounting qualification.
