Management Accountant

A leading manufacturing business in Blackburn is seeking a commercially focused Management Accountant to join their finance team and play a critical role in driving performance, accuracy, and insight across operations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Produce monthly management accounts with analysis and commentary
* Support budgeting and forecasting cycles
* Perform variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast)
* Partner with operational teams to interpret financial data and influence decision-making
* Cost accounting and inventory management reporting
* Maintain and develop product costing models
* Reconcile balance sheets and maintain financial controls
* Use SAP for reporting, data extraction, and system improvements
* Assist in year-end audit processes and compliance requirements

Requirements:
* Qualified or part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
* Experience as a Management Accountant in a manufacturing environment (desirable)
* Strong SAP experience (desirable)
* Excellent analytical, Excel, and communication skills
* Commercial mindset and ability to liaise across functions
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
