Management Accountant

We are seeking a dedicated and analytical Management Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, developing and analysing financial information to allow the business services department to make well-informed decisions to ensure future stability, growth, and profitability.

Description

The Management Accountant will;

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Develop and maintain budgeting and forecasting models.
• Perform variance analysis and provide commentary on findings.
• Support the wider business with financial information and reporting.
• Ensure financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
• Develop and implement effective financial strategies and control systems.
• Monitor and interpret cash flows, predicting future trends.
• Liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• Professional qualification or part-qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
• Ability to work within a team and independently.
