Management Accountant

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this Management Accountant role offers exposure to all aspects of the finance function, providing a broad and hands-on opportunity to develop both technical and commercial skills within a dynamic team.

Description

• Production of monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis and commentary
• Supporting year-end and audit processes across multiple entities
• Assisting with financial models for bank submissions
• Managing sales and purchase ledger invoicing
• Handling VAT and CIS returns and liaising with HMRC
• Performing bank reconciliations and supporting cashflow forecasting
• Involvement in annual budgeting and P&L forecasting
• Communicating with external stakeholders including suppliers, lenders, and contractors

Profile

• Newly qualified CIMA, or a first-time mover from practice (ACA/ACCA)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong team player with flexibility
• Experience with Sage Line 50 and advanced Excel skills
