Management Accountant

We are currently assisting a globally recognised company located near Sutton Coldfield in their search for a Management Accountant, initially on a temporary contract. The ideal candidate will have experience in complex reconciliations and thrive in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will engage in various tasks, including: producing monthly management accounts preparing weekly flash reports, collaborating with senior stakeholders; undertaking additional project work aimed at enhancing the company's profitability.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Variance analysis and commentary on performance against budget and forecast.
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations, able to put controls in place.
• Support the Senior Finance Manager and Senior Account Director with ad-hoc commercial projects.
• Identify areas for process improvement and drive efficiencies across the finance function.

Key requirements:

• Part-qualified / finalist accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) ideally looking for your first move into the 'commercialworld’ with experience in stakeholder interaction.
• Experience as an Assistant Management Accountant or Management Accountant in a fast-paced environment.
• Ambitious with strong commercial acumen and proven business partnering skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
