Management Accountant

Management Accountant | £40,000-45,000 | Skelmersdale

We are recruiting for a part qualified/finalist level Management Accountant to join a business based in Skelmersdale.

In this role, you will be responsible for reporting and analysis across the business and will constantly look for ways to improve reporting and other processes. Day to day, you will be responsible for:

• Producing monthly management and weekly reports
• Assisting in budget preparation as well as providing variance analysis with commentary
• Preparing weekly and monthly forecasts
• Preparing reports using financial and non-financial data to help with key decision making
• Analysing costs and profitability using analytical tools and commercial acumen
• Partnering with departmental heads across the wider business to help provide information to drive performance and increase profitability
• Continuously improving processes and driving efficiencies

We are looking for someone who has:

• Part qualified/finalist level CIMA/ACCA/ACA
• Experience working in a fast paced management accounts role
• Strong Excel skills and excellent analytical flair
• Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships with stakeholders
• Well organised with the ability to work in a fast pased business
