Job Description - Management Accountant

Part-Time Management Accountant
Location: Bromsgrove (on-site)
Working Pattern: 2.5 days per week
Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role
We are working with a growing organisation based in Bromsgrove who are seeking a hands-on Management Accountant to join their team on a part-time basis. This is an on-site role requiring 2.5 days per week, ideal for someone looking to make an immediate impact in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation of monthly management accounts
Accruals, prepayments, journals and balance sheet reconciliations
Cash flow forecasting and variance analysis
Assisting with budgeting and forecasting cycles
Supporting the Financial Controller with ad hoc reporting
Reviewing spend and providing insightful commentary
Ensuring compliance with internal controls and procedures

Requirements

Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role
Strong Excel skills and good systems knowledge (experience with Sage/QuickBooks/Xero advantageous)
Comfortable working independently and managing time effectively
Available to start immediately and able to work on-site in Bromsgrove
