Management Accountant

Search Consultancy are supporting a SME business in their search for a Management Accountant to join their head office in Knottingley.

Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for producing the monthly management accounts for two of the group companies. You will collate financial and non-financial reports, in order to complete the monthly management accounts pack for review and prepare the monthly budgets and forecasts. You will report on labour, overhead and capital expenditure and prepare the draft accounts. You will also be responsible for the quarterly VAT return and collating information for the quarterly standard cost update. You will be expected to provide cover in the absence of other team members when required.

To be considered for this role you will:

• Be AAT Qualified or ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified/Qualified
• Be a competent excel user (Pivot Tables, V-look ups)
• Have worked in a Management Accounts role previously
• Be able to work as part of a team, and cover for colleagues during holidays/absence

What's on offer?

The role is offering £38,000-£45,000 per annum dependant on experience.

This role is based in the office Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week.
