Michael Page are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Management Accountant who is well-versed in all aspects of financial management, accounting, financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation.

Description

The key responsibilities for a Management Accountant will include:

• Oversee the end to end management accounts function.
• Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts.
• Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports.
• Supervise and manage financial department staff, including accountants and financial assistants.
• Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems, including payroll and invoicing.
• Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
• Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• Experience managing end to end management accounts and a strong background in financial reporting and forecasting.
• Part qualified working towards professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or similar.
• Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.
• Proficient using accounting software ideally SAGE and solid MS excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
