Michael Page are partnering with a not for profit organisation who are looking for a Management Accountant to join their accountancy team on a full time permanent basis.

Our client is a not for profit organisation based in Portsmouth. They do require travel to their offices but also offer a hybrid model of working.

Description

As the Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.

• Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and forecasting.

• Analyse financial performance and contribute to strategic planning and decision-making.

• Support budgeting processes, ensuring timely and accurate preparation and review.

• Provide cost analysis and monitor departmental spending against budget.

• Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors.

• Maintain the integrity of financial systems and ensure proper internal controls.

• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.

• Collaborate with other departments to improve financial awareness and accountability.

• Produce ad-hoc financial reports and analysis for senior management as required.
