Your new role
Working in a small accounting team, this will prove to be a very hands-on Management Accountant position, both overseeing/assisting in the daily accounting routines where required for end-to-end production of the monthly management accounts. Being responsible for the preparation and analysis of the financial data across the business, your main duties will include; weekly bank reconciliation and cashbook, monitoring daily invoice transactions, VAT returns, stock analysis and preparing management information. You will be producing various reports from cashflow forecasting, budget preparation and variances as well as balance sheet reconciliation through to assisting with the statutory audit.

What you'll need to succeed
It is likely that you will be a finalist (CIMA/ACCA) and have a strong and recent track record at a Management Accountant level where you have the ability to work on your own initiative and are able to produce an end-to-end management accounts pack including commentary. Being proactive, you will have a strong hands-on approach with a solid understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles to support and work with a close-knit team, working on a collaborative basis.
