Management Accountant : Belfast

Permanent | Full-Time | £dependent on experience | Office-based

REED Finance is delighted to be working in partnership with a growing business in Belfast in the appointment of a Management Accountant.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Management Accountant to take ownership of the company’s accounting/finance function and work closely with a commercially focused Director.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and budget returns.
• Delivery of management reports.
• Preparation of annual budgets and cash flows.
• Quarterly VAT returns
• Financial analysis
• Balance sheet reconciliations and narrative on key movements / budget variances
• Preparation of year end audit packs and liaising with external auditors

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Full qualified or 'qualified by experience' Accountant
• Previous experience in management accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent numerical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
