Management Accountant

Exciting Management Accountant Opportunity for an established business in Sheffield. This is a key role within the finance team, offering the opportunity to take ownership of monthly management accounts, provide insightful financial analysis, and support strategic decision-making. Your new role

• Support with monthly and year-end reports for stakeholders.
• Prepare month-end journals, prepayments and accruals, and handle other month-end tasks.
• Work with external accountants for tax compliance and audits.
• Reconcile balance sheets and find ways to improve efficiency.
• Communicate with operational teams to highlight risks and improve processes.
• Prepare content for board meetings.
• Make sure suppliers are paid on time, and manage cash flow.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have previous experience in a Management Accountant role and have experience in a similar environment, strong IT skills, including Intermediate Excel and experience working to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high degree of quality and detail. Experience using SAGE is desirable. You will have previous experience in driving processes and implementing change, and be able to provide examples.

• Part-qualified accountant actively pursuing a professional qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
• Skilled in using SAGE
• Proficient with Microsoft products, especially Excel.
