Job Description - Management Accountant

Hales Group are thrilled to be working on behalf of our client who are seeking a Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

Management Accountant duties will include:
  • Raising Sales and Service Invoices
  • Uploading invoices to HSBC Invoice Finance
  • Printing Bank Statements
  • Posting cash and bank transactions/reconciling bank statements
  • Generating the daily credit check report—checking customer credit headroom against orders in books
  • Updating the Cash Flow spreadsheet
  • Managing Accounts/inbox—printing invoices, statements, and documents, handling queries
  • Opening and distributing post
  • Producing the units consumption report for EIPL Investor
  • Sending the Aged Creditors Report to Directors/Buyer
  • General Purchase Ledger Housekeeping—allocating payments and obtaining missing invoices
  • Managing Staff Expenses and payments
  • Posting credit card transactions and reconciling balances
  • Reconciling Petty Cash
  • Posting Month-End bank charges
  • Preparing Customer Statements
  • Running warranty costs report
  • Chasing outstanding debts for Sales and Service
  • Preparing Management Accounts—Balance Sheet and inter-company reconciliation
  • Calculating and posting monthly accruals/Prepayments
  • Maintaining the Fixed Assets Register
  • Posting Journals
  • Transferring Inter-company Overhead Costs
  • Conducting Adjusted Gross Profit Analysis
  • Processing payments on HSBC/Entering on BC/sending remittances
  • Compiling various other reports as required
  • Assisting with Purchase Ledger support during holidays

The successful Management Accountant will have demonstrable experience of the following:

• Strong experience in management accounting.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with directors, finance teams, and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Advanced in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
• Holds AAT Qualification

LOCATION: Lowestoft
HOURS: Full-Time
TERM: Permanent
PAY: £35,000 to £37,000 Per Annum
