Management Accountant

A well-established and award-winning manufacturer is seeking a Senior Management Accountant to support its UK manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for a qualified finance professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams to improve financial performance and efficiency.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for leading a small team and partnering with key departments to provide financial insight and support. The focus will be on cost control, stock management, and margin analysis, with a strong emphasis on collaboration across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of two management accountants.
• Oversee financial reporting and management accounts for multiple business units.
• Work with department heads on budgeting, forecasting, and spend analysis.
• Provide regular financial reports and variance analysis.
• Support cost control initiatives and improve inventory management.
• Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and sales teams to drive efficiency.
• Contribute to new product development from a financial perspective.
• Manage stock control processes and reporting.
• Assist with audits and improve financial systems and reporting tools.
• Support the rollout of finance reporting software.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA).
• Experience in a finance role with a focus on stock and inventory.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or product-based environment is preferred.
• Ability to lead and develop a small team.
