Management Accountant

Our multi[-site client is seeking a Management Accountant to contribute to the overall success of their operations. You'll be responsible for producing weekly and monthly management accounts, investigating variances, and creating annual budgets. What you'll do:

As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of one of our client's sites. Your primary responsibility will be the production of weekly and monthly management accounts, providing valuable insights that drive decision-making processes. You'll also:

• Produce weekly costings for all customer contracts at site and across other sites
• Submit weekly costings and KPI information to customers and Head Office
• Investigate and explain variances in the management accounts
• Produce annual budgets and periodic reforecasts for profit centres
• Invoice and Credit Control customers and update the Company cash forecast
• Deal with site suppliers including self-billing subcontract hauliers on a weekly basis

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Management Accountant role is a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with experience across either manufacturing, FMCG, logistics or retail You are highly proficient in using IT, including MS Office and accounts software. Your sound knowledge of spreadsheet writing and analysis of data is essential in this role. You are an excellent communicator who can engage effectively with individuals at all levels. Your inquisitive nature drives you to constantly seek improvements in procedures.

On offer is a salary of circa £50,000 plus a strong benefits package. Headline benefits includes a 10% bonus, private medical, generous pension and 25 days holiday.
