Management Accountant

The Role:

Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking for your next opportunity. We are recruiting for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to provide vital support to a small, but busy finance team on an ongoing temporary basis. This role offers hybrid working and an immediate start.

Responsibilities and Requirements of a Management Accountant:

Month-end preparation including journals, accruals, prepayments, and depreciation

Review of monthly financials and reconciliation to Oracle

Balance sheet reconciliations

Management of MDF (Market Development Funds) accruals, prepayments, and contract renewals

Analysis of cost areas: COGS, transaction fees, warehousing, merchandising, and SG&A

Sales reporting and performance tracking against plan and prior year

Control account reconciliations across multiple entities and currencies

Liaising with international finance teams across EMEA and corporate HQ

Supporting debtor reconciliations and assisting with multi-currency cash postings during leave cover

Ad hoc analysis including merchant P&Ls and reconciliations

About You:

4+ years of accountancy experience or working towards AAT Level 4 (or equivalent)

Strong understanding of financial processes and month-end activities

Comfortable working across multiple entities and currencies

Highly organised, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Able to hit the ground running in a dynamic finance environment

The Package:

£37,500 Basic

Flexible hybrid working (office in Whiteley)
