Management Accountant

RG Consultancy are delighted to be partnering with an excellent, established manufacturing company based in Cinderford who are looking for a Management Accountant to join their business. This company are part of a larger group with sites across the UK as well as other parts of the world and this role will be the main point of contact for finance in Cinderford.

Supporting the Directors, this Management Accountant role will be responsible for the day-to-day finance activities and duties will include:

• Production of monthly management accounts
• Preparation and posting of journals
• Cashbook reconciliations
• Fixed asset register maintenance
• Weekly and monthly payment runs
• Overseeing credit control
• Plan and undertake stock counts and valuations
• Quarterly VAT returns
• Ad hoc duties as required

This role is ideal for an experienced Management Accountant, who is happy to get hands on with the shop floor with regards to product costings, timings etc. The role is currently being overseen by someone in another site so a solid handover will be available, and there will be support whilst taking on the duties.
