Reed Finance is delighted to be partnered with an excellent business in the Ballymena area who are seeking a passionate and proactive Management Accountant to join their dynamic team.

Role Responsibilities:

• Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with our external Accounts Team and support the Financial Controller in creating and analysing monthly management accounts packs. Dive into P&L trend analysis and balance sheet reconciliations to drive financial insights.
• Drive Business Decisions: Utilise cutting-edge analytic tools to report key financial and commercial metrics. Engage with staff at all levels and help them leverage financial data to boost performance.
• Master Data Management: Take ownership of the master data for our Purchasing, Stock, and Sales systems, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
• Lead and Implement: Be a key player in future finance projects, contributing to the implementation of new systems and process improvements.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Qualified and Experienced: You are a qualified accountant or have significant industry experience. Experience in retail or hospitality is a plus!
• Confident Communicator: Your personality shines through as you confidently explain financial information to non-finance staff at all levels.
• Organized and Proactive: You are an organised self-starter who can multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Adaptable and Agile: You thrive in an informal environment where change is constant and everything moves quickly.
• Strong technical skills: Experience with finance systems is desirable. You are also proficient in Office365, with advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced functions, and formulas).
