Management Accountant

Meraki Talent’s market leading client based on the outskirts of Glasgow are looking to add a Management Accountant to the team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading firm and the successful candidate will be responsible for the production and presentation of accurate and timely financial information.

Key duties of the role include:

• Production of monthly management accounts in accordance with the groups reporting timetable.
• Work with stakeholders at various levels, discussing any variances
• Assist in the production of annual budgets and forecasts
• Balance sheet and bank reconciliations, including inter-company accounts
• Supporting the year end audit
• Assist in stock valuation and review
• Responsible for the maintenance and review of the general ledger
• Ad hoc reporting when required by finance team

• Part-Qualified ICAS / ACCA / CIMA or QBE
• Strong background in the production of monthly and quarterly management accounts.
• Industry experience required
• Comfortable working to challenging month and quarter end deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to build relationships with non-finance stakeholders.
• Experienced excel user.

• Salary: £40,000-£45,000
