Job Description - Management Accountant

The Role
Location: Newcastle (Hybrid Working)
Contract: 6–12 months
Start Date: ASAP

This interim role will sit within a central finance function of a growing tech business, supporting group operations during a busy period of growth and transition. You’ll be working closely with senior finance leadership and stepping into a hands-on, varied role overseeing the following:

Management accounts preparation and reporting
Review and approval of payroll
Review and approval of payment runs
VAT return
Involvement in yearend audit
Project work including documentation and improvement of processes and control environment
Other statutory and ad hoc reporting as required

About You

Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or finalist with strong experience
2+ years PQE preferred
Strong initiative and ability to work independently
Comfortable navigating fast-paced, multi-entity environments
Experience with Sage or similar platforms is a plus (not essential)
