Job Description - Management Accountant

The Role
Location: Newcastle (Hybrid Working)
Contract: 6–12 months
Start Date: ASAP

This interim role will sit within a central finance function of a growing tech business, supporting group operations during a busy period of growth and transition. You’ll be working closely with senior finance leadership and stepping into a hands-on, varied role overseeing the following:
  • Management accounts preparation and reporting
  • Review and approval of payroll
  • Review and approval of payment runs
  • VAT return
  • Involvement in yearend audit
  • Project work including documentation and improvement of processes and control environment
  • Other statutory and ad hoc reporting as required


About You
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or finalist with strong experience
  • 2+ years PQE preferred
  • Strong initiative and ability to work independently
  • Comfortable navigating fast-paced, multi-entity environments
  • Experience with Sage or similar platforms is a plus (not essential)
