Location: Knowsley, Liverpool
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE + Study Support

We're working with a well-established business that having grown through numerous aquisitions in recent times are now looking to expand their team with the additon of a Management Accountant to support the business as they continue to grow their UK presence

This is an excellent opportunity for a developing Management Accountant to work directly under a strong Financial Controller in a role that will offer lots of career progression in a collaborative and supportive environment.

The Role:
As Management Accountant, you'll support the production of accurate and timely financial information to drive commercial decision-making. You'll be working across multiple group companies with a broad scope of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts (journals, accruals, prepayments)

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

• Balance sheet reconciliations and VAT returns

• Assist with year-end audit processes

• Cashflow forecasting

• Working closely with senior stakeholders across the group

• Supporting with foreign exchange transactions for one of the group businesses

• Providing payroll data and occasional support across purchase/sales ledger

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in a Management Accountant role

• Part Qualified, QBE or Qualified

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Confident communicator and proactive team player
