Management Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a world leader in manufacturing. This full-time role is based in Berkshire, Wokingham, and offers a chance to be part of a family-run business with a rich history spanning over 60 years. They are expanding their busy accounting team and are keen to welcome new talent.

Working within a team of 7 and reporting into the Group FC, this is an integral role supporting across daily duties across the accounts team when required but focussing on supporting with the monthly management accounts.

Key duties for this role will include but not be limited to,

• Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth
• Provide accurate and sound management reporting to assist with key decision making
• Produce month end and year end journals
• Contribute to annual budgeting and planning process
• Assist with managing capital expenditure
• Assist with produce financial statements including P&L accounts, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations
• Review accounting processes and practices and improve where necessary to ensure efficient financial operations
• Accountability for cash flow and production of forecasts
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for all accounts
• Liaise with external auditors when required

This role is best suited to a candidate with experience of working within a small team across varying accounting duties and experience of working within a manufacturing environment is desirable.
