Management Accountant

Your new role

Core responsibilities:

• Process new customers and suppliers onto the ERP
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable function
• Ensure that all supplier invoices are paid on time
• Ensure accurate customer billing and recording of cost of sales into the ERP
• Approve Supplier Payments on the bank in the absence of the FC
• Prepare journal entries and maintain financial records.
• Complete month-end reporting of P&L
• Complete month-end analytical reviews by comparison to budget and forecast and reporting on the variances and reasons for the variances
• Support in preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Completion of thorough and robust balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis (Fixed Assets, Bank Rec, VAT, Creditors, Debtors and Provisions)
• Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts
• Analyse financial data and identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
• Complete and submit all ONS Surveys
• Assist with the month-end process, ensuring that all deadlines are met, and that accurate accruals, prepayments and other financial entries are complete.
• Processing Expenses
• Ad-hoc tasks

What you'll need to succeed

We are looking for an innovative and exciting individual who will make this role their own. There will be opportunities for progression, and working directly with the Financial Controller. You will have some experience with month-end, invoicing, and reconciliations. You will be used to multitasking and displaying good communication skills.
