Management Accountant

This newly created Management Accountant role is to work closely with the Group Financial Controller to in-source the month-end processes for a number of their entities. There are a number of automation and reconciliation projects ongoing internally which in turn will also support the success of this role.

Description

• Multifreight (operating system) to Xero Reconciliations.

• Duty Reconciliations

• COS Accruals & Prepayments calculations & postings (inc margin checks)

• Month end journals for MA's (including Bad Debt Provision, Overhead accruals & prepayments)

• Updating the Management Accounts files.
• Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations

• Intercompany reconciliations - recharges, posting & clearing payments

• AP/AR Corrections & Adjustments

• Bank Reconiliation (Ecom only)

• Ad Hoc reports & investigations

Profile

• ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified
• Experience of operating at Management Accountant level
• Experience in the logisitcs sector would be desirable
• Experience wtih Xero would be desirable
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
