Management Accountant

Are you a hands-on Management Accountant looking to make a real impact in a dynamic, owner-managed business?
On behalf of our client, I am looking to recruit a proactive and detail-oriented individual to take ownership of the financial processes and help drive informed decision-making.

Your new role
As the on-site Management Accountant, you will play a key role in the business, working closely with the Directors:-

• Producing monthly management accounts (MMA) with insightful commentary
• Preparing and presenting flash accounts to support strategic planning
• Managing VAT returns and ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations
• Overseeing weekly and monthly payroll processes
• Using Sage 50 & Excel for all accounts processing and reporting
• Supporting the owner with ad hoc financial analysis and business planning

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in a similar Management Accountant role
• Strong working knowledge of Sage 50
• Excellent understanding of VAT, payroll, and management accounts preparation
• A self-starter with a hands-on approach and strong attention to detail
• Ideally part-qualified or qualified (AAT, ACCA, CIMA) - but it's really the experience that counts!
