Management Accountant - Newly Created Role - Site Based

A global leader in the engineering sector that is entering an exciting phase of growth and innovation are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join their business. You will take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations and support the Finance Director, in driving performance across multiple business entities.

The Role
As the Management Accountant you will be responsible for the following:

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts
• Financial oversight across multiple entities within our group of six companies
• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Streamlining and improving financial processes and systems
• Creating and presenting insightful financial reports to senior stakeholders
• Managing reconciliations and supporting internal controls
• Payroll coordination with our external provider
• Supporting the Accounts Assistant

The Person

The requirements for the Management Accountant role are:

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA / AAT qualified (or qualified by experience)
• Solid experience in producing management accounts and working with multi-entity environments
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with Access Dimensions (or similar systems)
• Commercial awareness and a proactive, process-improvement mindset
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
