The Opportunity

A well-established finance team is seeking a proactive and analytical Management Accountant to support financial operations and drive business performance. This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified accountant or an ambitious Accounts Assistant/Assistant Accountant looking to take the next step in their career with full study support provided.

You'll work closely with the Financial Controller and collaborate with key stakeholders across the site, delivering insightful reporting and analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with operational teams to provide financial insights and support continuous improvement.
• Prepare and analyse weekly reports, KPIs, and site metrics.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Support the development and implementation of financial controls and processes.
• Contribute to the month-end and year-end close processes.

About You

• Part-qualified or fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA) - or actively studying with relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a finance role, ideally with exposure to management accounting.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
• Understanding of standard and product costing in a manufacturing or operational environment is a plus.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for process improvement and data-driven decision-making.
