Management Accountant

This is an exciting new role for a growing company based in Basildon. You will be part of a growing finance team with the key objective to help drive growth and profitability through partnering with various business function heads.

This role can and will evolve as the business continues to grow both organically and through acquisition and therefore represents an interesting opportunity for somebody that wants to progress their career in the IT and PE space.

Core Role:

• Managing annual budgeting process and preparation, refinement of budget model
• Short term forecasting (e.g. next quarter / budget reforecasts)
• Linkage of sales 'booked' by sales team to revenue recognised in the P&L
• Preparation and presentation of management information for inclusion in the group management accounts and board packs - This will involve working with the team to develop inciteful business reporting and KPI's across the Group
• Analysis and evolution of margins by income stream/customer
• Identification and demonstration of areas where margins could be enhanced and working with the sales and operational teams to deliver on this
• Overhead cost analysis and management against budget

• Ongoing integration of acquired business (existing and future acquisitions)
• Mapping pre acquisition results to the company format to enable consistent reporting and analysis
• Work with the team to build a 'data cube' to be provided to future investors

This role will be based in Basildon with some element of hybrid working.
Your CV needs to be able to demonstrate broad management accounting experience. You will be either a fully qualified Accountant or working towards your qualification. Salary £50-55K + Benefits.
