Management Accountant (Qualified)

The role

• Prepare of management accounts for our group entities, including preparing Income Statements, Balance Sheet, cashflows and other financial documents for analysis in accordance with FRS102
• Manage the consolidation process
• Maintain, document and support testing of our control environment and develop any remediation plans required with our compliance department
• Respect all deadlines including the month end / year end close deadlines
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, preparing month end journals including:

o Salaries, depreciation, FX bank revaluations etc

o Preparing accruals and prepayments.

• Maintain Fixed Asset registers and updating depreciation file for FA
• Coordinate and maintain Inter-company cross charges and transactions via a matrix.
• Support AP and AR teams by:

o Overseeing the reconciliation of bank and HIF accounts prepared by AR and AP

teams

o Oversee the reconciliation of the Ledgers.

• Maintain and analyse financial data for multiple entities.

o Research and report on factors that influence the company’s performance

• Providing information to GFC for Group reporting, Auditors, bank and relevant other statutory stakeholders by providing accurate working papers

Skills

• Must have a recognised accounts qualification e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA
• Advance Excel knowledge
• Organised, methodical and analytical
• Enthusiastic, collaborative and a team player
• Working to tight deadlines
• Able to communicate at all levels
• Sage 200 experience would be an advantage
