Description

• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor budgets and forecasts, providing insights to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with department heads to manage financial performance and address variances.
• Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors.
• Oversee cash flow management, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
• Maintain and improve financial reporting systems and processes.
• Support the finance team in delivering key projects and initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements in all financial activities.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• A recognised qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
• Strong technical accounting skills and an understanding of management reporting.
• Proficiency in financial systems and Excel.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• The ability to work effectively within a team and communicate financial data clearly.

Job Offer

• A competitive salary of approximately £50,000 to £60,000 per annum.
