Management Accountant

NHB Recruitment are representing this highly successful creative arts agency in their search for an experienced Management Accountant.

Key responsibilities will include-

• Manage a small accounts team of 2 and oversee all accounts functions working within Xero accounting software and in turn Google workspace
• Report directly to the Board of Directors, with the support of a highly qualified senior finance professional, producing regular quarterly management accounts and financial reports
• Develop budgets, forecasting and scenario planning
• Oversee and develop project-based P&L’s control, with live tracking to maintain agreed margins.
• Manage and track client focused people time as the pathway to increased profitability
• Oversee and support where necessary book keeper functions, with supplier payments and client invoicing

We are looking for individuals

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or equivalent UK- recognized qualification
• Proven experience in a Management Accountant or Finance Manager role
• Experience in a creative agency, events business or project-based environment desirable
• Excellent Xero/Google Sheets capability
