We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing business near Melton Mowbray. They’re looking for a capable, hands-on Management Accountant to support core finance processes — with a clear pathway to taking full ownership of the management accounts in the future.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who’s already operating in a management accounts support role — or a newly qualified Management Accountant looking for a fresh challenge with more room to grow.

?? What You’ll Be Doing:

• Posting journals, accruals, and prepayments
• Maintaining the fixed asset register, including depreciation, additions, and disposals
• Reconciling bank, VAT, payroll, and intercompany accounts
• Supporting WIP and stock reconciliations for accurate period-end reporting
• Assisting with cash flow forecasting and audit preparation
• Laying the groundwork for accurate and timely month-end close

? What We’re Looking For:

• AAT Level 3 qualified (ideally working towards Level 4 or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of financial controls and accounting principles
• Experience in posting journals, accruals, and completing reconciliations
• Comfortable working independently and prioritising tasks
• Sage 200 and Excel experience preferred (training provided)
• A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a willingness to grow
