Description

• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor and control financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.
• Prepare variance analysis and provide actionable insights to key stakeholders.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data to meet internal and external requirements.
• Support the development and implementation of financial systems and processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective cost management.
• Assist with year-end audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• A professional accounting qualification or equivalent experience in Accounting & Finance.
• Proven expertise in preparing and analysing management accounts.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Experience within the production sector is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in financial systems and software, with excellent Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
