Management Accountant

The role of management accountant is in shaping and developing the company's strategic plan. It also involves the analysis and reporting of performance across key business areas, including their B2C, arm, e-Commerce, and supply chain & distribution .

Roles & Responsibilities of this Management Accountantinclude:

• Development of budgets, forecasts, and rolling financial outlooks, is key due to their impact on cash flow forecasting.
• Preparation and oversight of monthly management accounts across Retail, Logistics, and Central Cost areas.
• Preparation and analysis of individual Store and e-commerce P&L.
• Completion and distribution of the weekly trading performance pack.
• Leading monthly financial review meetings with budget holders.
• Interpretation of financial and management data to provide actionable insights.
• Delivery of financial management information to support both strategic and operational decision-making at the senior level whilst reporting to the Head of FP&A.
• Proactively support the commercial management team on financially impactful decisions, both short- and long-term.
• Conducting ad hoc trading analysis, including evaluations of promotions and special offers.

Experience required for this Management Accountantrole -

• Ideally having 3-5 years' experience in a management, financial, commercial accountant or FP & A analyst or manager level
• Open to management accountant looking to take the next step up
• have worked in an organisation with multiple cost centres.
• That you've worked in the business with a turnover of circa 100 million +
• This position does not require you to be fully qualified, so open to people who are part qualified or qualified by experience.
• Proven track record in team management and leadership
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP functions as a minimum
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
