Job Description - Management Accountant

An accountant with experience in the manufacturing sector is sought for our client based in West Leeds.

This is a hands-on role within a close-knit finance function and is ideal for someone who enjoys the nuts and bolts of management accounting within an SME environment.

Main duties of the role:

Preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
Maintenance of standard costing and product margin analysis.
Inventory and stock accounting.
Accruals, prepayments and journals.
Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
Working closely with operations and production teams to provide meaningful financial insights.
Cashflow forecasting and cost analysis.
Supporting year-end audit and liaising with external auditors.
Identifying and implementing process improvements within the finance function.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
