Management Accountant

REED Finance are currently recruiting a Management Accountant on a Permanent basis working with the Finance Director and a team of two. The Company are an Innovative Engineering firm (specialise in advanced technology). Location is close to Shaftesbury, please note this will become a HYBRID Role.

Management Accountant
Salary £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
35 hours (core hours are 8am - 5pm) - Flexibility in hours for a commute
Duration - Permanent

Duties

Job Description

· Prepare accurate financial reports and management accounts.

· Monitor and manage budgets to ensure financial targets are met.

· Analyse financial data to provide actionable insights for decision-making.

· Assist in financial forecasting and long-term planning.

· Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and policies.

· Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes.

· Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.

· Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend improvements.

The Successful Applicant

As the successful Management Accountant should have:

· Experience in financial reporting and analysis

· Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

· An understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes as well as cashflow reporting.

· Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

· Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.

· Strong Excel Proficiency , Sage 50 background , Previous Engineering or Manufacturing background is desirable.
