Management Accountant

A dynamic and growing business based on the Outskirts Ipswich are seeking an experienced qualified Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is a pivotal role offering broad responsibility, the chance to contribute to strategic decisions, and the opportunity to manage and develop a small team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including group consolidations and detailed financial analysis
• Collaborate with operational and commercial teams to analyse cost and revenue drivers
• Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting
• Analyse title and product performance, stock movement, and profitability
• Deliver accurate cash flow forecasting and oversee banking activities
• Manage VAT returns, audit preparation, and statutory compliance
• Support the delivery of financial reports to senior management and the board
• Continuously improve financial processes and internal controls
• Provide leadership, development, and support to a small finance team

What We’re Looking For:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA)
• Proven experience in management accounting and financial planning
• Commercially minded with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Excel and accounting systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, adaptable and able to manage busy periods with a positive approach
• Experience managing or mentoring a small team is essential
