Management Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Management Accountant to join a large, fast-paced UK business with national reach. Working as part of a centralised finance function, this role supports accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting-underpinning decision-making across multiple business units.
You'll be part of a high-performing team responsible for financial control, overhead analysis, stakeholder engagement, and delivering critical insight across the group. Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy across financial records.
* Analyse overhead cost lines across multiple business units.
* Deliver timely and accurate management information to support operational and strategic decisions.
* Contribute to the month-end reporting process and continuous improvement of internal controls.
* Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external audit partners.
* Support with budget monitoring, variance analysis, and commentary.
* Assist Business Finance Controllers with forecasting, reporting and project-based finance support.
* Actively contribute to the balance sheet review process and action key findings.

What We're Looking For:
* Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
* Strong attention to detail, commercial awareness, and analytical mindset.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with both finance and non-finance teams.
* A proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Experience in a multi-site, distribution, or complex operational environment (preferred but not essential).
