Management Accountant

Management Accountant | £40,000-45,000 | Liverpool

An award winning and acquisitive business based on the outskirts of Liverpool is recruiting for a part qualified Management Accountant to join their finance team.

Reporting into a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing management accounts, posting accruals, prepayments and journals
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• VAT returns
• Supporting with the budgeting and forecasting process, as well as cash flow forecasting
• Assisting with year end audit
• Analyse financial and non-financial data to provide reports for decision making purposes
• Continually improving processes and controls

For the Management Accountant role, you must be:

• Experienced working in a management accounts role with the ability to produce a full set of accounts
• Part qualified CIMA/ACCA
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical skills
• Excellent relationship building skills
