Management Accountant

Reed Finance are delighted to be supporting a forward-thinking organisation in East Lothian is seeking a Management Accountant to support financial operations and drive insight through accurate reporting and analysis. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role is central to the monthly accounts process and financial control.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with VAT, PAYE, and year-end audit preparation
• Preparing the monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and KPI reporting
• Analysing financial and operational KPIs to support business decision-making
• Maintaining accurate ledgers and process income and expense transactions.
• Responsible for reconciling bank accounts and manage credit card and payment systems
• Supporting with payroll and departmental cost allocation

What You’ll Bring

• 3–5 years’ experience in a finance or management accounts role.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with Dynamics 365
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across teams
