Management Accountant

Company Details and Job Overview:

A new Management Accountant role has become available within an owner managed business in Preston (PR2) due to growth. This newly created role has been designed to take ownership of all month end activity and to provide meaningful financial insight to aid further business growth and success.

Offering a good variety of technical and commercial accounting input, this role is expected to develop as the business continues to expand.

Your New Role as Management Accountant:

• Production of monthly management accounts including commentary and analysis
• Assisting with budget preparation
• Cash flow management
• Supporting with preparation of year end accounts
• Working closely with other departments, providing financial information and support to non-finance stakeholders
• Assisting in an upcoming system upgrade
• Involvement in various ad hoc projects relating to growth and continual improvements within the finance department and wider business

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

The successful candidate will be proven in a similar management accounting role, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes. Part or full CIMA/ACCA qualification is preferred but not essential if the candidate demonstrates sufficient experience. Strong communication skills are required with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
